The MOZA R16 Ultra is a 16 Nm direct-drive sim racing wheel base for PC. It pairs a flat-wire motor with a 21-bit magnetic encoder, a 600 MHz processor and MOZA's NexGen Force Feedback Algorithm U1 in a compact aluminum body with two RGB light strips. This is the wheelbase only: add a MOZA steering wheel and pedals. Canada Toyz sells it in CAD and ships from Markham, Ontario.
Key Features
- 16 Nm sustained torque from MOZA's in-house flat-wire motor, with ultra-low cogging.
- 21-bit magnetic encoder: 2,097,152 positions per rotation.
- 600 MHz processor and NexGen Force Feedback U1, with FFB interpolation, game FFB decoupling, an FFB equalizer and custom non-linear curves.
- Native iRacing 360 Hz force feedback and Wheel LFE support.
- Two RGB light strips (16.7 million colours) that show ABS, traction control, shift and flag telemetry.
- Intelligent cooling with real-time temperature monitoring.
- Hands-off protection: stops oscillation and centres the wheel when you let go.
- Bottom, front and side mounting in a compact 206 × 140 × 135 mm body.

MOZA R16 Ultra FAQ
Is the R16 Ultra's 16 Nm sustained or peak torque?
Sustained. MOZA rates the R16 Ultra at 16 Nm of sustained torque.
What is the difference between the R16 Ultra and the R16 V2?
Both have 16 Nm and a 21-bit encoder. The R16 Ultra adds a low-cogging flat-wire motor, a 600 MHz processor, NexGen Force Feedback U1, two RGB light strips, a more compact body and more mounting options. The upgrade is in smoothness and detail, not torque.
Is 16 Nm too strong?
You do not have to use full power. Strength, friction, damping and response are all adjustable in MOZA Pit House, and hands-off protection centres the wheel if you let go.
Does the R16 Ultra come with a steering wheel or pedals?
No. It is the wheelbase only. Any MOZA steering wheel fits, such as the KS or CS V2P, and MOZA pedals plug into the wheelbase's pedal port.
Does the R16 Ultra work on Xbox or PlayStation?
Xbox works only when the MOZA ESX Steering Wheel is attached; the wheelbase alone does not. PlayStation is not officially supported.
Can I mount it on a desk?
MOZA lists bottom, front and side mounting and does not include a desk clamp. For 16 Nm, a cockpit or sturdy wheel stand is recommended. Check your rig against MOZA's mounting-hole diagram before ordering.
What does "Back order" mean on this page?
Back order means the wheelbase is not in our Markham warehouse at the moment. You can still place the order. It is queued and ships when the next supplier shipment reaches Markham, typically in 2 to 4 weeks. Lead time depends on supplier stock and transit.
Where does Canada Toyz ship from?
From Markham, Ontario, to addresses across Canada. Prices are in CAD, and there is no customs paperwork, duty or brokerage fee at delivery. Orders over $300 CAD ship free. See our shipping policy for details.
Is it covered by warranty in Canada?
Yes. It is covered by MOZA's manufacturer warranty, with local support from Canada Toyz in Markham. Contact us at info@canadatoyz.com or +1 289-818-8441.
