Bandai's Gashapon brand has officially announced the latest addition to the MS Mechanical Bust series: the MS Mechanical Bust DX – RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 03 Phenex. This item will be released in late March 2026, exclusively through Gashapon Online.
The RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 03 Phenex was developed by the Earth Federation after regaining control of the "UC Project" from the Vist Foundation. Featuring golden anti-beam coating similar to the Hyaku Shiki, the Phenex is equipped with two Armed Armor DE units and transforms into Destroy Mode when NT-D activates. During a test mission in U.C. 0095, the Phenex went out of control after releasing its NT-D limiter, ultimately disappearing into deep space along with its pilot.
The new bust figure builds upon the previously released Unicorn Gundam bust with updated parts. It features a redesigned V-fin antenna, striking golden paint to replicate the anti-beam coating, and transparent blue molded parts for the Psycho-Frame.
The lineup consists of three variations with equal pull rates:
- Unicorn Mode Armor
- Destroy Mode Armor
- Internal Frame with 2 light-up units
Both armor versions can be combined with the internal frame to form a bust approximately 11.5 cm tall. The inner frame can also house LED units that illuminate the head camera and Psycho-Frame, delivering an impressive display effect.
